Sytenol® A Is Accepted for Use in the Chinese Market

We are pleased to announce that Sytenol® A (Bakuchiol) has been successfully notified as a medium-low risk new cosmetic ingredient on NMPA platform since August 26th, 2022. Sytenol® A is now eligible to be used in cosmetic products for the Chinese marketplace.

Sytenol® A has been categorized with the following characteristics:

  • Use concentrations: up to 2%, recommend: 0.1% to 1%
  • Applications: facecare products
  • Claims: Skin hydration, Skin protection, Skin calming, Anti-oxidant

Sytenol® A is a natural, vegan-friendly, retinol alternative that has the same benefits as retinol without the drawbacks. Clinically tested at the University of California and peer reviewed in the British Journal of Dermatology, this multi-functional active is incorporable in both day and night cosmetic products.
